Energy Analyst Project Manager (West Hill Energy & Computing, Inc.; Brattleboro, Vermont): THE PROJECT MANAGER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING: MANAGES THE CREATION OF PROJECTS SCOPE OF WORK, EVALUATION WORK PLAN, SCHEDULE AND BUDGET FOR ENERGY EFFICIENCY PROGRAMS; OVERSEES AND TAKES RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION AND TIMELINESS OF EVALUATION PROJECTS, INCLUDING PERFORMING ON-SITE INTERVIEWS TO EVALUATE ENERGY USE IN RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL FACILITIES AND PREPARING COMPREHENSIVE REPORTS DETAILING ANALYTICAL FINDINGS OF ENERGY SAVINGS EVALUATIONS; MULTITASK AND MANAGE MULTIPLE PROJECTS AND CLIENTS AT ANY GIVEN TIME; MANAGE CHANGES DURING PROJECTS BY UNDERSTANDING THE ASK AND GOALS. ASSESSES THE IMPACT OF CHANGES AND RECOMMENDS THE BEST COURSE OF ACTION BY COLLECTING AND ANALYZING DATA TO EVALUATE ENERGY SAVINGS CLAIMED BY ENERGY EFFICIENCY PROGRAMS; PERFORMING DATA MANIPULATION IN FOXPRO, STATA AND EXCEL BY CONVERTING DATA OF VARIOUS FORMATS AND FUSING DATA FROM SEVERAL SOURCES TO CONDUCT ANALYSIS; PROACTIVELY RESEARCHING ENERGY EFFICIENT TECHNOLOGIES AND ENERGY CODES TO ENSURE ASSUMPTIONS MEET REQUIRED STANDARDS; DEFINE AND MANAGE EVALUATION TASK PRIORITIES BASED ON HIGH-LEVEL PROJECT GOALS AND CONSTRAINTS; MONITOR PROJECT PROGRESS, SCHEDULES, DOCUMENTING AND REPORTING KEY MILESTONES TO STAKEHOLDERS; LEAD CLIENT AND INTERNAL PROJECT TEAM MEETINGS EVERY WEEK OR BIWEEKLY TO DISCUSS PROJECT MILESTONES AND DELIVERABLES; ENSURE CLEAR COMMUNICATION AND ALIGNMENT OF OBJECTIVES ACROSS A DIVERSE SET OF PROJECT TEAMS AND SUBCONTRACTORS; WORK CLOSELY WITH UPPER MANAGEMENT TO RESOLVE PROJECT-RELATED ISSUES, DOCUMENT WORK SCOPE CHANGES AND IMPLEMENT PROCESS IMPROVEMENTS; IDENTIFIES WAYS TO IMPROVE INTERNAL BUSINESS PROCESSES, ANALYSIS TEMPLATES AND TOOLS BY ASSISTING WITH THE DEVELOPMENT OF SURVEY INSTRUMENTS AND SUMMARIZING SURVEY DATA FOR IMPLEMENTING ENERGY EFFICIENCY PROGRAMS; ASSIST WITH DAILY PROJECT ACTIVITIES TO ACHIEVE RESULTS INCLUDING SOLVING TECHNICAL AND OTHER PROJECT CHALLENGES, MANAGING RESOURCE CONFLICTS, RESOLVING ROADBLOCKS, AND UPHOLDING HIGH ETHICAL STANDARDS; ASSIST WITH ONBOARDING AND MENTORING NEW EMPLOYEES AND ENSURE THAT ALL STAFF HAVE RELEVANT PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES; MAINTAIN QUALITY CONTROL OF DELIVERABLE PRODUCTS, DEMONSTRATING TECHNICAL EXCELLENCE, OBJECTIVITY, AND CLARITY; PREPARE PROPOSALS, PROJECT SPECIFIC REPORTS AND PROGRAM-LEVEL REPORTS.

Minimum requirements: BACHELORS DEGREE IN RELATED ENGINEERING FIELD PLUS 3 YEARS TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE INCLUDING MANAGING PROJECTS FROM START TO FINISH.

Must have: 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE USING STATA/SAS, DATABASES, MICROSOFT OFFICE SUITE AND ADVANCED EXCEL FUNCTIONS AND MACROS; INTERMEDIATE KNOWLEDGE OF ECONOMICS AND STATISTICS PRINCIPLES; EXCELLENT VERBAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS; PROFICIENCY IN DATA MANAGEMENT AND DATA CLEANING; STRONG ANALYTICAL SKILLS TO EFFECTIVELY RESEARCH SOLUTIONS, SOLVE PROBLEMS, DEFINE AND IMPROVE BUSINESS PROCESSES, AND THE ABILITY TO MAKE SUGGESTIONS TO BUSINESS LEADERS; STRONG ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS INCLUDING TIME MANAGEMENT, MANAGING AND BALANCING STAKEHOLDERS EXPECTATIONS, SCHEDULING, COORDINATING MEETINGS AND USING TIME EFFICIENTLY, AS WELL AS MANAGING MULTIPLE PROJECTS AT ONE TIME; STRONG INTEREST IN ENERGY EFFICIENCY; EXCELLENT ANALYTICAL AND DATA PRESENTATION SKILLS WITH STRONG COMMUNICATION AND WRITING SKILLS; ABILITY TO PRIORITIZE WORKLOAD WHILE MAINTAINING ACCURACY, CONSISTENCY AND CONFIDENTIALITY; ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE WITH OTHERS CLEARLY AND CONCISELY; ABILITY TO COMPLETE PROJECTS ON TIME AND BUDGET; ABILITY TO WORK WITH INTEGRITY AND MAINTAIN ETHICAL STANDARDS; ABILITY TO WORK AS A TEAM PLAYER WHO WORKS WELL COLLABORATIVELY AND IS RESPECTFUL OF OTHER TEAM MEMBERS; STRONG ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS AND ABILITY TO MANAGE MULTIPLE COMPETING PRIORITIES SIMULTANEOUSLY.
